- Futsū no Joshikōsei ga Locodol Yattemita (普通の女子校生が【ろこどる】やってみた。?, lit. "Normal High School Girls Tried Being Local Idols"), also known as Locodol, is a 4-panel comedy manga series by Kōtarō Kosugi, serialized in Ichijinsha's Manga 4-Koma Palette magazine since 2011. It follows the adventures of high school girl Nanako Usami who teams up with upperclassman Yukari Kohinata as a pair of local Japanese idols, going on television broadcasts and performing at events, to promote their town of Nagarekawa and its businesses. It has been collected in two tankōbon volumes as of January 2014. An anime television series adaptation by Feel was announced,[3] and began airing the broadcast night of July 3, 2014.
